1.1 By downloading, installing, or using the Weet application or website (collectively, the "Services") operated by Weet Network Pty Ltd ("Weet," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

1.2 These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Services. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Services

2.1 Weet is a professional networking platform that enables users to discover in-person events, connect with other professionals, and grow their networks. Features include, but are not limited to, event discovery, user matching, messaging, and profile management.

2.2 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with or without notice.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services.

3.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up-to-date.

3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.4 You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent, or use the Services for any unauthorised commercial purpose.
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

4.1 You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

Post content that is false, misleading, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Services or related systems.

Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Services.
5. User-Generated Content

5.1 You retain ownership of content you post on the Services. By posting content, you grant Weet a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services.

5.2 You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you post, and that such content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5.3 Weet reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.6. Intellectual Property
6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All intellectual property rights in the Services — including the software, design, logos, trademarks, and content created by Weet — are owned by or licensed to Weet Network Pty Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Weet's intellectual property without prior written permission.

6.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

7.3 Weet's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of AUD $100 or the amount you paid to Weet in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification

8.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weet, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
9. Termination

9.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

9.2 You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the in-app account deletion feature. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for the resolution of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.
